Caroline BLANVILLAIN has been a member of the Lyon Bar since 1999 and specialises in criminal law, business criminal law and criminal labour law. She has developed expertise in occupational health and safety, environmental criminal law and classified facilities, as well as in criminal transport law.

Caroline BLANVILLAIN holds a postgraduate degree (DEA) in criminal law and criminal sciences and a specialised postgraduate degree (DU) in comparative law from the University Jean Moulin Lyon III. She has taught as an assistant in general criminal law and special criminal and business law. She is co-president of the Lyon Criminal Defence Centre of the Lyon Bar Association.

Caroline BLANVILLAIN joined AGUERA AVOCATS in 2004 as an associate in charge of criminal cases and became a partner in 2007. Originally created by Joseph AGUERA, she manages and runs the firm's criminal division, assisting and representing companies, their managers and/or employees facing criminal proceedings, from the investigation phase onwards.

Her judicial experience of more than 20 years also leads Caroline BLANVILLAIN to advise companies in the implementation of their obligation to prevent occupational and technological risks. The defence provided by the Criminal Law Department on behalf of its clients is also marked by an in-depth knowledge of European Union law.
